Torn on this one, big fan of both smart money would be on Colby because I believe he’s the better fighter but I’m getting strong Ben Askren vibes.

Don’t get me wrong Masvidal is a great fighter, but he capitalized on that Askren knockout heavily. Just domination by Colby. Hope Chimaev or Luque can shake up WW because as far as I can tell it’s Usman massive gap Colby massive gap everyone else.

Well, Colby wants a gatekeeper from the lightweight division because he's such a tough guy. At least he has a solid win this decade now.

He's really good. Good enough to be an interim champ but we both know the only way he was ever gonna have a real belt and keep it any amount of time is if the LW division has some down years. In a solid division, he's one of the guys who filters the up and comers.

Sour grapes about what? If you're talking about the fight last night, I didn't even care enough to watch. Not really a fan of either guy, TBH, although I do enjoy Masvidal's fights usually, and Colby's been more entertaining lately.

I like to clown on Covington because he does **** like this.

And another thing. It can’t be for the BMF belt, that’s not a real thing. Masvidal hasn’t won a fight since. At this point he’s lost it or has been stripped of it.

What are Masvidals options? Fight round robin with all the other perimeter dwellers? Diaz bros., McGregor, Guida (haha), and the like? He may have actually been the winner depending on what his new contract looks like.

Honestly, Covington was right about masvidal. What has that guy actually done? Knocked out an old wrestler with one ufc win in ben askren. knocked out Darren till, which sounds nice but I mean till is 1-4 in his last five and what’s his best ufc win? A decision over wonder boy? Then you have the medical stoppage win over Nate Diaz due to a deep cut. Masvidal just sparked interest with the knockouts and hitting Leon edwards backstage during the interview. In all honesty he’s not that great and isn’t beating top tier guys like Covington or usman. Hell even chimaev would destroy him.

Kris moutinho is going to be brain dead if they give him another fight in the ufc. This kid looks leagues below these guys.
Also, cannetti just did what everyone expected O’Malley to do against moutinho but couldn’t. He was too busy pretending to dribble and hit imaginary jump shots though.
