Belfort vs Weidman. It is decided.

I'd rather see Machida. Hopefully Weidman doesn't slip up in this one.

looks like Pan Kids in February is out for us. Jakey hurt his foot playing indoor soccer. He had been training really well too,

I'm not very happy with the Gegard vs Machida match up, my 2 favorite guys in the division. I am looking forward to Lorenz Larkin fighting soon though, that dude is fun to watch.

Finally saw the UFC documentary. Really good. I had no idea the Bonnar/Griffin fight saved Dana's UFC.

I know it's been talked about ad nauseam, but it really was one of the greatest sporting events I've ever seen. I was in college and lived in a house with 6 other dudes. My cousin and I watched every episode of TUF. I can't remember what our plans were that night, but everybody was meeting up at our house and by the time that fight was over we had like 25 guys standing in our living room and nobody could leave even post fight. For at least half those guys that was their first taste. We were all favoring Griffin but Bonnar had earned our respect to the point that we cheered him when he came up with a big shot or a takedown. I'll never forget the experience.

Imo, the way they battled, then smiled and hugged, got some people interested that normally wouldn't as well. Especially women. My wife doesn't understand how guys can say something to each other, or fight, then be over it immediately because women seem to be more incapable of that thought process.

I love documentaries, and that was a really good one. I knew some of their history, but not all of it. A lot of my friends point to that fight as the fight that got their interest.

For me I think the coolest thing is a sport basically being born in our life time, and us getting to watch it grow.
