UGA has some built in advantages including twice or three times the talent TN has in state. That does allow TN to go into Ga for some of these players but right now, the elite in that state are going to UGA. 2019 is an enormous year of top talent in that state. If Tn can continue to grow talent instate like they have the past 5-7 years, things look bright. Just have to keep that talent home, imperative to keep 70% of the top 10 home. In the past, TN wouldnt have 10 players that was 4 stars, would be about 8 deep, that is changing so those elite have to stay home. The Higgins, Mays, Rogers will have to be priority for Pruitt, and they will be. He is already well grounded in middle Tn, he just needs to build a fence and keep out OSU, UA, UGA, CU, etc.
Thats first step, win a few they shouldnt and let momentum take off. Talked to my buddy (who is a recruiting analyst) and he told me GA might have more blue chips than any State next year, said UGA would have to fail not to be top 3, they are already #1 in 2019 with 3 of the top 8 players committed. Top 3 in recruiting next year could be Bama Tn and UGA. Second step is knocking the lid off the program, he has to get Tn back to ATL, win or lose the SECCG. Kids today do not remember or care about something that happened over a decade ago. Do those two things, sky is the limit for TN.
