I'm not sure going 7-5 and losing a bowl game is ever overachieving at UT. Atleast it shouldn't be.

When you have walk-ons starting on your OL, 7-5 and a bowl game was a positive miracle.

He might be more naturally gifted. Doesn't mean he is as good making reads...

All I know is app state had them on the ropes until Fromm comes in and they look like world beaters. Another touchdown on a 50 toss from Fromm.

LOL< a 50 yd wounded duck from Fromm. Oh well, I'd rather be lucky than not.

If some of you guys didn't get to watch the UF UM game, UF has no offense. They're OL is flat bad, RBs, meh, QB still trying to find one. They're D has life but has holes against the run. Their defense has to score for them as their offense is pitiful.

Actually I'm glad he connected it. If we play against him he will have the mentality just fling it up for grabs. Nigel Warrior or TK jr aren't just gonna let it hang. Pick is in play.

This game is such a surprise. Appy State must've changed their scheme after they manhandled us last year. All I heard was how tough they are.

App is a good team...for a mid major. They are not nearly as good as UT made them look last year.

Yeah, looks like no surprises today....21-0 with 6:30 left in the first half. This is how an SEC team picked to win the SECe should open their season vs. a lowly team like Appy State.

High expectations are a burden, right?

Tommy Tuberville calling the game. Thought him and Patrick were gonna make out there for a minute.

He did but the hot is was hurt the QB, way late. But it's ok if you want to root for other players to get injured if that makes you feel better

After watching it looked like he barely nick him from his momentum, or atleast from this view.

They still won't win the East. Get real.

Didn't say they would. But I do know what was actually real last year when we played App State....do you remember?

Pretty sure every true fan remembers. Like I said for the millionth time, I don't care about last year.

If it happens again this year then I'll worry.

"True" fan. Lol.

Also, are you saying being up 21-0 nothing at the half over a far inferior team ISN'T the way an SEC team picked to win its division should handle their opening game vs a far inferior team like Appy State? Stay focused here Josh

My money is on them. I WANT it to be us but doubt we do it.

Somebody has to win it. It won't be UT because the football gods aren't giving Butch a third chance after blowing it two years in a row. And I certainly wouldn't bet on Florida after that turd fest they laid today.

So that leaves Georgia by default.
