If ya'll don't think having good personal skills is a must for a successful college football head coach, I don't know what to tell you but many of them are nothing more than a good used car salesman.
Why would an NFL OC take a step down to become a college OC, even if he's not been successful with the Rams, for various reasons? A bit odd, especially since he doesn't appear that the Rams were going to sack him (though maybe that was in the cards--hard to know for sure). He will bring a certain amount of sophistication to the georgia attack, but you can't devise a college offense quite like an NFL offense; make it too complex and the young guys will get confused and make mistakes. That's the thing in college--the guys make a lot of mistakes.

Not one person said otherwise. We just disagree with your silly notion that coaches in the NFL are only there because they dont have the personalities to coach in college, which is outright retarded.
Yeah I think the best you could say is mediocre OC with those numbers in front of you. He may translate better to college but just because you're a good OC in the NFL doesn't mean you will be successful in college IE Weiss. IDK how anyone can argue Schottie is a good OC and to boot he is kind of an entitled dick according to some that have played under him.Total Offense Stats under CBS, you can decide his "greatness":
