UGA RB Etienne Out for Game vs Vols

Well we're kinda in the same situation; there is a huge drop off from Dylan to Peyton.
True, but not as big a drop as you may think. Different running styles, sure, but we do have horses. An Arabian stallion or two, and a Clydesdale. Sampson is the thoroughbred.

When looking at a backup RB, a lot of times that hurts the passing game from an inability to use them to do any blocking. Some have mentioned fumble issues. Last week, that ball was wet. I'm not saying he doesn't have issues, but a wet ball does matter.

Down that many running backs has to effect pass blocking as well. May be a bigger thing than actually rushing.
Seems like they would have to stay mostly in max protection all game. They don’t have scary good receivers that our CB’s can’t cover. Banks might rush 9 quite a few times and leave the CB’s on an island?

Their back up Nate Frazier imo is better than Etienne, but he does fumble the ball. Doesn’t matter tho bc like already stated Georgia is gonna throw the ball 40 times.
If they do throw 40 times and they don’t block better (and in particular replace #71 at LT), then Beck will be on his back 20 times and may not make it out of the 1st quarter. I think their OLine issues and WR drops have more to do with Beck’s problems than Beck. Inexperienced RB’s in pass blocking won’t help the situation either.

Everybody's dinged up...our "out/questionable" list is about the same as UGA, regardless of Kirby lamenting the condition of his team...channeling his inner Lou Holtz.

They have to do something they're not used to. Their other RB has had some fumbleitis. This is looking better and better for us. Now, just get Nico back.

Our defense travels, this line shouldn't be anywhere near 10pts - regardless of what the final score is. This game should be capped around -6 for UGA. . . maybe not that high, considering injuries.
But our offense doesn't. Thats the issue.

He's suspended for legal issues. He's not hurt.

Oh my fault thank you brother. I don't follow UGA close enough so I assumed it was an injury.

......plus UGA is such an upstanding school!!! Im shocked someone is in trouble. USA today rankings are:
1. Belmont (Baptist)
2. Lipscomb (Church of Christ)
3. UGA
4. Seminary in Texas
5. Monk monastery in Thailand

🤣🤣🤣🤣

The big thing is that they are not only out Etienne, but 2 other RBs too and Cash Jones is questionable as well. They may still run the ball ok, but their protections will suffer with a true freshman vs our front 7.
