UGA/Richt choke again..

Teams take on the personality of their coach a lot of times. Richt is passive, calm and doesn't seem to get too bent out of shape over anything. Well Mark that's not working. Might be about time to put that dog down and start over.

On a side note... If you need spiffy Uni's to get you motivated even more proof the coach needs to be fired.

I have not heard anything about that. I think our fanbase is sick of that already, so I find it hard to believe to be honest with you. We want to see them play GA football again.

Same here. I thought it sounded a little farfetched. If we play the same brand of football this Saturday that we played in yhe first half against ECU, you all will handle us.

You're too kind. Its always a dogfight one way or the other.

I will give you some inside info. It looks like Lattimore will have yet another big game against us. We'll be missing an important guy on D next week.

He is being serious. USCjr got outplayed until very late in the game. I do not think USCjr is half as good as everyone is making them out to be. For most of that game, I thought they would lose.

Yes it is. I really like what that kid brings to the D. We are so thin that we played a true freshman and a walkon once he left the game. That will not be enough to stop Lattimore.

I thought I had read somewhere that it was him, couldn't remember.

This game scares me to death for two reasons. First, it's at Georgia. Second, Richt is fighting for his job, and will pull out all the stops. A win Saturday would go a long way in helping save his job, IMO, although he looks to be a dead man walking. Most UGA fans I know want him gone.

I think UGA rolls South Carolina. They're embarrassed from their performance and unis, pissed, and talented. Plus I could really see USCe having problems with their QBs. I can't stand UGA but they should win this game.

I'm with you on this. UGa by 10. Garcia has a big day in the loss and Lattimore gets about 75. Just a guess.

Watching the game again... What in the hell was UGA thinking with those uniforms?? They looked bad in the promo pics. They look worse on the field.

I just watched this game again on ESPN U and uniform aside Georgia looked even worse on second glance.

1. At some point I believe Moore completed 18-19? passes. He was 28-34 for the game and didn't have a completion longer than 20 yards. Not as if he needed to go deep as UGA just seemed to set back in zone and give him whatever he wanted.

2. Two of UGA's three TD's came on busted plays in which a Bronco defender slipped or was way out of position.

3. If Spurrier doesn't watch the tape and implement the no-huddle to some degree he is an idiot. UGA was gassed halfway through the third quarter and their D-Line obviously couldn't handle it.

4. Earlier I felt the USC-UGA game could be a close one going either way. Last week USC skedaddled around with an inferior opponent and then hammered down. UGA looked shell shocked and soft from the second quarter on. If the line on this game stays single digits I'm crawling to my bookie.

South Carolina 38 - Georgia 14.

USC and UGA will be a battle of Jekyl and Hyde teams. USC better hope spurrier quits effin with the QB's he's usually good for a loss playing with that fire. UGA could also pull a last year and play lights out like they did against us following those embarrassing games they played before us. It's in UGA so Richt has 0 excuse but we'll see.

If we play well, we should beat Georgia. That being said, this is a scary game for us.

Anyone else heard the rumor that Murray hurt his ribs in the Boise game and will miss the USCe game?

There's a thread on CT about it, but they are citing the boards on The Big Spur as a source. I didn't see anything on any of the UGA boards. I call BS.

If (emphasis on 'if') the Murray rumors are true, UGA will start 0-2.

I don't know about that man. We could still lose even if Murray is in there. Our O-line is just a mess right now, not much a QB can do when your O-line does nothing for you. Ellis Johnson must be licking his chops right now.

I'll be pulling for Richt again this week but I just don't see it. I'm afraid an 0 & 2 start means 5 losses. That won't save his job.

Regarding Aaron Murray's injury, there is a thread about it on Dawg Rant now. They have yet to provide a link, but they are already talking about who will start Saturday. Still skeptical.

If Murray starts I think UGA pulls off the upset. If not, Richt might as well start packing.

I'm sorry but I don't see who is going to help Murray out this year. He may be a talented QB but without playmakers to score the football (AJ Green), where are the points going to come from? A true freshman at RB doesn't help the run game either...

Everything you is true but my only argument is that we've only played one game. Most teams and players make improvements as the season moves along, at least that's what I'm counting on. A game like the Boise game will make some of your players grow up.

Insider, it's just an observation to this point. I can't name your playmakers on offense. That's strange b/c I've always been able to do that with the teams GA has put out on the field. Honestly, I don't follow GA close but I used to know who to fear....
