UGA starting 0-2

Muschamp & Weiss have yet to win an SEC game. Saban and Smart, okay. Richt? Are you serious? What has he done in the last three years, except a Fulmer remix? And take away Lattimore (which SEC defenses will do this year, with Garcia absent at QB), and Spurrier will be lucky to win 7...again.

And UK and Vandy are on our ass? Stop eating the mushrooms you find in front of your single-wide, hoss. What are UK, and Vandy's, record against UT over, say...the last 25 years? Stretch it out to 26 for UK.

Next time...do some research. Check a few facts. Look at some -vs- records. Please.

Go Vols.

Garcia is coming back. Also, Marcus Lattimore is not the only player on our team. We could win seven just fine without him.

Garcia is not necessarily a good thing, but I agree that you have more than Lattimore. Alshon is a pretty ridiculous guy to overlook.

Does anyone else think UGA could be incredibly disappointing this year? I could actually see them around 6-6.

I know, I was just pointing out that he is returning. I hope Garcia has finally grown up, but I am not counting on it.

Meyer left Muschamp and Weiss an awful lot of talent in Gainesville. Richt recruits well. We do beat them from time to time. Spurrier has the Gamecocks on the rise recruiting and they also have the best WR in the nation Alshon Jeffery. South Carolina schedule is easier than UGA's. Kentucky 3 bowl last 3 seasons, just said they were catching up. I'll give you Vandy. Just the facts!

Also underachieves.

I could see it. Especially if they drop the first two games.

If they drop the first two games. I seriously think it will be trouble between the hedges. The rest of their schedule is a cupcake walk. Never know how injuries will factor into the season.

Florida, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia all recruit themselves not to mention they've had success lately and have outstanding Recruiters. I believe in UT football and CDD but I do not think we can win the east with character guys we have to have some 5*s. The last 5 National Champs have come for the SEC because of the elite talent level. I don't care that Mark Ingram was a 2* or 3* he had a hell of a coach in college and talent all around him. We do not have either. Dooley came from LA TECh not Michigan State and NFL (head coach). Kids are too young to remember the glory days on the hill, which is another reason we are suffering. They see UF, LSU, Alabama, Auburn, USC, Texas, and Ohio St. as the best programs. We were last releavent in 07 and we made to SEC championship game by defeault.

Head coach wise yes. But Dooley actually was in the NFL iirc and he was at LSU.

Maybe, but we had a long list of guys we, as fans, thought we could get before settling for Kiffin. Coaches waiting in the wings is never a guarantee. The timing has to be nearly perfect.

Tennessee didn't really settle for Kiffin.

He's who they wanted.

If he manages to lose 6 or 7 games, maybe even 5...I'd say it's time to cut the leash.

I think it was time after last season.

They may drop some games they should easily win if they start 0-2.

I could see their season shaking out like this:
v. Boise L
v. USCe L
v. Coastal Carolina W
@ Ole Miss W
v. Miss. St. L
@ Tennessee L
@ Vandy W
v. Florida L
v. New Mexico St. W
v. Auburn W
v. Kentucky W
@ Georgia Tech L

Yeah. That's why I put head coach in parenthesis. I know he was under Saban @ LSU and with the Dolphins but Saban is the proven guy and they will always mention Dooley under the Saban coaching tree.

Where is the SEC love? Boise beats UGA and we can kiss a top 25 finish in recruiting goodbye.

You can win the Big East with that recruiting philosophy, but if you can't get elite talent, you can't win the SEC. Period.

Then I'm not sure how Auburn won a championship. They had like 2 elite players.

Seriously.

Kids don't want to play in a conference that gets beat by WAC schools

I know a lot of the Kiffin recruits are gone from the first class but if you go by final recruiting rankings, Tennessee's done solid recruiting the past couple of years. That's in spite of losing to Wyoming and sucking against Northern Illinois/UAB.
