Guess they want to expedite the eternal suffering in the afterlife for this miscreants. After all, it is what the Bible says about this imaginary crime.

Which Bible are you talking about?

Really? Have you read the Bible?

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor. 6:9-10

Doesn't get much more clear than that. For good measure God even throws in alcoholics people who engage in pre-marital sex. There are a plethora of choice verses I could choose from on homosexuality in the Bible.

After reading the article it looks like Uganda follows the Christian dogma on this matter, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some Islamic fingerprints on this too. Either way, we can chalk another one up to organized religion making the world a better, more moral place.

I dunno, the theme of the chapter is about how a christian should live. Where I draw the line is forcing someone else upon my belief system which is completely insane. If I want to live this way, I should be able to. If someone else wants to live the opposite way, they should have the freedom to do what they want.

Lawsuits Among Believers

1If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints? 2Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! 4Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, appoint as judges even men of little account in the church![a] 5I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? 6But instead, one brother goes to law against another—and this in front of unbelievers!

7The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? 8Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers.
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Sexual Immorality

12"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh."[b] 17But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

That's fine. Just pointing out which Bible I'm reading.

Thats like grouping all southern, white people in to racists, slave owning, bigots. Or all followers of Islam, into murdering terrorists.

No where in the Bible does it tell you to claim the lives of homosexuals, "Vengeance is mine, thus saith the Lord." He is the judge of their fate (after they die), not me, nor anyone else.

If these people claim, this is of the Bible they are wrong. As a matter of fact, there are christians that are denouncing it. In that very article.

No Christian is supporting this, we are against killing people for their religious or sexual prefrences. But I am not surprised at all that you are trying to say Christians support and are ok with this type of thing.

You guys need to point out for me where I said every Christian wants to kill homosexuals, I mean, seriously. All I said was that this all stems from the Christian dogma. Read my response to OE. I don't think you guys want to kill homosexuals, but it does say very clearly in multiple parts of the Bible that gays deserve death and shouldn't inherit the kingdom after they die.

The quote you gave does not endorse killing anyone, it simply says that those who participate in those activities will not go to the kingdom

This is frustrating beyond belief.....

Have you read this thread, or are you just responding to a single post of mine? Let me break it down for you.

I said this in the second post of this thread:

A beechervol challenged me like it wasn't in the Bible.

THIS IS THE ONLY THING I WAS RESPONDING TO when I posted the verse and chapter I did. This is not hard to understand....or shouldn't be anyway.

Would you like me to start quoting verse a chapter that endorse death sentences for homosexuals? There are plenty of those.

I couldn't care less what you or anybody else says they believe, I am just pointing out what the Bible says on this matter. Of which has a significant impact on Christian dogma. That is all I am saying, and I refuse to let you guys portray me as saying all Christians are bloodthirsty bigots because you can't read or understand a thread on a internet message board.

I don't suppose GLAAD, GSLEN and the other gay activist groups are planning mass protests in Kampala?

They aren't that brave.

I know. Their preferred method of protest is to disrupt church services and rip crosses out of the hands of little old ladies.

most leftists aren't very brave to begin with, except for the Israel haters, but they're too stupid to realize they're being used as cannon fodder by the Palestinians.

I understood your post pretty clear.

I challenged you on your claim, that the Bible teaches killing homosexuals, which is totally false. What you posted about homosexuals not inheriting the kingdom of God is totally true according to the Bible. That is not for any person to decide.
