Floyd was a no show last year and I expect him to remain the same. The last time I seen him Neal was running away from him. That was all I remember of Floyd
Those aren't orange. There is only one orange. Well plus a few different shades Adidas comes up with.
Possibly my favorite story regarding this sort of psychological warfare was from Gen. Neyland.
The story goes that prior to kickoff one third-saturday-in-October, Neyland approached Alabama's Wade and humbly asked if Wade would shorten the second half if Tennessee was taking a beating against the superior Tide.
Wade agreed.
Tennessee went on to stun Alabama and win the game.
Look I dislike mark richt as much as the next guy but Floyd is a player. Watch some film on him.... I mean not better than us but he is a player.
If I was Butch, I would have JW hurl a deep pass off of play-action to start the game. Whether it was completed or not it would serve notice that UGA better not cheat toward the box this game.
If memory serves me correctly, that would have been the 1928 game, Neyland's first against the Crimson Tide. Gene McEver returned the opening kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown.
Your account of Neyland's psychological manipulation of Wallace Wade prior to the 1928 Alabama game is corroborated by 100 Years of Volunteers, vol. 1 (fast-forward to the 15:40 mark). A grainy video clip of, presumably, McEver's 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown is also presented therein (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjCPlflS4Ko).
