It's not hard to make enemies on this site. Just post an opinion and wait for insults.

Something I learned very early on this site is you have to have thick skin if you're not going to fall in line with the group on EVERYTHING. The insults are just part of it. You get used to it after a while. :)

I wonder what would happen if LV showed up to a VN tailgating party at some point. Some of y'all would probably spit in his food. Jeez....

"You can't have potato chips. You already have Doritos. There isn't room for both. Coach obviously doesn't like potato chips because he chose Doritos. I can't believe the Potatochip-ites still can't see it. That train has come and gone. You saw both kinds of chips and you chose potato chips. There will be no Doritos, nor can there ever be. People are fools for still wanting Doritos."

It would depend on if the potato chips were made local or was just some over rated chip from the left coast. Just because they are a 5* chip, does not mean we have to buy into the hype. If it's possible to eliminate either the macaroni salad or potato salad, there would be room on the table for the potato chips.

Now the popcorn is another story.

Leb, every time I go into any thread and see a comment about the next recruit. You are timely in your numbers response. I don't know how you do it, every single time on cue, but I salute you.

I just don't understand LV's obsession with the numbers in every class.

The coaches know how many they can take, as well as the harsh penalty for oversigning (assuming that all signed players qualify). Lots of other things to worry about, IMO.

Not every class.

Year before last it was post after post on how I wanted Dooley fired.

Last year it was DL recruiting.

This year is the Numbers.

Next year I think I am going to go with an extensive discussion on should Tennessee recruit Torrance Gibson out of Juco or not.

TIFWIW.

I don't think he understands it either. My best guess is that he was trained by Freak in a similar fashion to the way Pavlov trained his dogs.

I think he sees someone talking about whether a recruit is a take or not and it triggers a reaction somewhere deep in the recesses of his mind. Upon reading about said situation he loses all control of his mind and fingers and begins typing one of a few programmed responses and/or arguments. It does not matter if he has already typed the same response, multiple times in multiple threads, or carried out a similar argument within the past few minutes. He has no memory of doing so and once he clicks reply will have no memory of the current response as well.

IMO Freak does this because talking about the numbers is his way of keeping threads somewhat on topic without having to come into every thread and threaten us with a rolled up newspaper every few hours, as it still renders the desired results. It's all about efficiency. Now Freak has one poster carrying out the least favorite part of his job on a daily basis. And if I was guessing I would say with little-to-no compensation outside of whatever he used as his reward in training (probably a slab of bacon a day). Hats off to you Freak...hats off.
