UK 09 vs UK 11

If I bet any money on UK, it would be as a hedge. If they lose, that's awesome. If they win, at least I have a little cash to compensate for the bad evening of television.

09 had alot of hype with J-Wall but still I would take the 09 team anyday over 11. J-Wall would tear up Teague!

I'll be the guy; wouldn't 2010 vs 2012 be a tad more accurate? I always use the ending year to refer to basketball seasons.

Davis would eat Wall up every time he drove to the basket. Wall wasn't a great jump shooter. His game was driving to the basket. Davis would block Cousins almost every time and eat him alive IMO.

I'd take this year's Ky team over 2009-10 every time.

Davis would not eat wall up. Go back and watch how he played in the rising stars game or watch how he plays consistently night in and out.

yes, Davis is good. but he won't even be top 50 defensive players in the NBA right now. Wall would almost single handedly destroy the team this year. And that's ignoring Cousins going for 20 and 12 most likely, cause davis is not guarding him 1 on 1. And we are forgetting Bledsoe who is turning into quite a damn good young player right now.

Maybe it's you guys who don't watch a lot of NBA ball, because Davis is nothing special in terms of NBA talent.

He will be more likely to be the next hasheem thabeet then he will to be the next Dwight Howard in terms of completely changing how an offense works. One on one, Cousins would destroy Davis.

John Wall > Teague or Lamb

Bledose > any of kentucky's shooters currently

Cousins > offensively and rebounding better than davis. Defensively Davis has him.

Tell me how Davis is going to stop john wall from driving to the paint or getting easy assists?

Just that statement alone makes you look totally clueless. Not to mention you first tried to use some type of all-star game as some sort of premise of what Wall can do. That statement alone would make most people laugh at you.

'12 > '10

'12 = .583 TS%, 39 rpg, and 11 topg
'10 = .568 TS%, 41 rpg, and 14 topg

Although John Wall had the ability to take over and dominate a game, the flip side is he also had the ability to take them out of games. The '10 Cats' season ended with a tournament loss to underdog WVU. Wall went 7/18 (4/8 from FT line) and had 5 assists and 5 turnovers.

You are forgetting Cousin's ability to kill possessions with his clumsiness in terms of charges, bad screens, etc. Davis averages 1 turnover per 40 minutes, and Cousins averaged 3.5 per 40. Considering that Davis scores much more efficiently, and only 1 ppg separates them, I'll take Davis on offense.
