People don’t deserve to lose life, limb and property due to natural disaster or other because of where they live or how they vote. Wishing or celebrating that on any level is disgusting. When people do vote for politicians and/or policy that invite crime, corruption and a disintegration of society and its norms as a result, then they certainly bear responsibility and should probably expect the admonishment.

For anyone, Pat Robertson and his ilk certainly included, whose default mode after a disaster is one of joy that supposed political opponents were hurt or killed is so warped that it's hard to even know where to begin responding.

The lady in the OP could have left it as a potentially sincere, though perverted, question about whether God was punishing people in the hurricane's path. But her first mistake was isolating the affected people as all MAGA people. If God was out to destroy only MAGA people, God apparently forgot that Asheville is predominantly a blue town. So the first part was bad enough. The 2nd part of the tweet reveals her own hate. Hopefully she sees that upon reflection.
