Oh so only a faction in the Republican Party LOL. Democrats never exhibited cult like behavior like stalking Senators during the Kavanaugh hearings or protesting outside politicians homes. Or harassing them in restaurants. An entire political party can't accurately be described as a cult because there is a democratic system of accountability for elected officials in the United States. Politicians are accountable to voters... and indeed, Donald Trump was voted out of the presidency.
However, the more homogeneous MAGA faction within the Republican Party, is a different story.
LOL. Republicans send people to Congress for exhibiting the type of behavior that you are describing in this post.Oh so only a faction in the Republican Party LOL. That's not an apples to apples comparison with Marjorie Taylor-Greene.Did she set fires to any buildings during the summer of 2020?
She was not stalking AOC. You really are addicted to the news media to the point they have you brainwashed. That's not an apples to apples comparison with Marjorie Taylor-Greene.
Marjorie Taylor-Greene is a member of the United States House of Representatives, and she was stalking Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, similar to what a scorned ex-lover might do. It was weird and creepy.
That’s exactly what Make America Great Again means. You nailed it. It’s quite amazing. I think your posts can’t possibly get any dumber and then you post again.I think MAGA = FASCIST. They say no, because "fascist" does not flatter their "patriot" self image, but fascism is what they are really supporting.
Cult - WikipediaFor a group to be considered a cult, there must be veneration for a charismatic leader. The cult can be devoted to an ideology, but only if the leader dictates it. The leader must come first. He originates the group and he sets the rules. The cult revolves around the leader; not the leader's ideology, which will often change in order to suit the leader's needs.
In no way does this ^^^^ describe the Democratic Party.
I'm tired of having to repeat myself, over and over. This is the last time I will do it. It's become a childish game to see who can get the last word in.

A cult must have a leader to originate the group, articulate the group's mission, and organize the group's following (sometimes into a hierarchy, but not always). This leader is then responsible for establishing the criteria for membership, and creating the rules which existing members must follow in order to remain in the leadership's good standing.
I have already said this about 20 times now ....
If the cult leader establishes devotion to an ideology as criteria for inclusion in the group, then it will involve devotion to that ideology. However, an acknowledgement of this leader's authority over the group's followers comes before devotion to the leader's ideology is adhered to. I have never said that a cult couldn't involve devotion to an ideology. I'm simply saying that whether or not it does, is up to the leadership of each cult.
You don't have a cult, without a leader.

The link posted up above is to an article in Business Insider from March of 2021. I think it's fair to say that Business Insider is generally regarded as being a reputable source for news and opinions involving American financial markets, politics and government. If you have a link to an article which similarly describes the Democratic National Committee as being a cult, I would like to read it. I don't expect anything will be forthcoming, however. Even media outlets who are biased against the Democratic Party, don't refer to the DNC as being a cult. It simply doesn't apply.
