ok, so here's the deal. Since you are getting into the whole purpose of a message board thing, let me say this. The point of a message board is to connect with people...here the idea is to connect with fellow vol fans. You can message back and forth anonymously, or (in this rare instance) you have the opportunity to talk person-to-person. You decide which is more productive

Yeah, the effort is futile at this point. But, since my number is out there, and this thread might survive into tomorrow, I need to say that my phone is going to be dead until about noon. I left my charger at my parents house on thanksgiving, and am going to have to go by there to pick it up (tennfan8427 can attest to this). Anyway, leave your name and number...you know the drill at this point. I'm not gonna skimp out on anyone. grude night all.

Ok, so I'm gonna assume that 256 area code was you. That was SUPER creepy...all I heard was breathing. where is 256?

To be honest that was me. I didn't expect it to be a real number so when you answered I tried to say something but started laughing too hard to. My apologies haha

I have to admit it did put a smile on my face to know those dillholes from FL will not be going to the NC.

And the flaming that goes on here is very amazing. I have never seen anything like it before. I think there are 2 main reasons for that: 1. There are a lot of idiotic posts and remarks on here and 2. There are a lot of what I like to call internet tough guys on here so there you go.

Great thread!! Coming from another chat board, I was hoping this one would be a little classier. So far it is mixed. I think our fan base is just a little dillusional at times with ALOT of unknowledgable mixed in.

Florida had a great year!! I find it difficult to pull for a team that does not have to play in Conference Championship game, (Notre Dame, Big Ten in years past). I was kind of mixed last night watching that game. One thing dawned on me though, Lane Kiffen is on borrowed time at USC, Pat Haden will not tolerate his antics much longer. That's not to mention a great offensive mind who fails to pick up less than a yard in a 4 play stretch. How familiar did that look to Vol fans? I was hoping USC won if for no other reason ND is not in a conference and they have a easy road to the championship.

Got news for you....Alabama or Georgia better get out of the gate quick against ND...if its a close game in the end they seem to find a way. PLUS, they have a coach UT should have hired from the get.....Brian Kelly would have us in that situation by now. He should have replaced Fulmer....many said I was nuts back in the day...wonder what their thinking now??

It shouldn't be this complicated gentlemen.

When Florida or Alabama loses, ALL Vol fans win.

Our record is irrelevant in this matter. Yes, we had a bad season but it doesn't mean we can't enjoy Florida or Alabama's season getting a little worse.

this is the thing. florida's season didn't get worse.

florida state was favored. florida state beating florida meant a 3 year losing streak to the noles and possible capital one or outback bowl.

florida beat florida state which makes a good season a great season.

they guaranteed themselves a bcs bowl bid.

you will not find a depressed gator fan anywhere today.
