Says alot about our AD but this guy has been successful!!

This is a realistic approach, but he has the highest winning percentage of any first year coach to the SEC, currently active. He has won 4 championships (conference)...He has produced NFL talent...What else do you need to see other than August 31st?

Nothing. But the OP said he thinks we got lucky with CBJ being hired. And I want to know why.

I taking a neutral point of view until he shows me something. And right now, for me, bringing in his Cincy staff and keeping CJG on board isn't enough for me to think any better about him.

Edit: actually once I start hearing some good recruit names I'll be feeling a lot better about the situation. Please let us land some talent.

Upon reflection we need a coaching influence in the AD office especially during a coaching hire. Pencil pushers are going to ruin sports. The basketball commish comes to mind when I say this.

The only thing he has proven so far is that he comes across personable. The feeling from his old players were they loved him. That is quite the opposite from what you heard about our last fearless leader. In his players meeting he told them he saw them as being champions. You are going to get much farther with positive support. I dont get the feeling that hes going to throw his players under the bus for things either. And as far as what has he proven. Well he does have 4 conf titles in 6 years. He also beat the coach that we all wanted desperately 2 outta 3 times. I am not exactly sure who you guys wanted us to get for the coach?

Maybe we need to take a look in the mirror. Harts 3rd or 4th choice was Jones. Jones wasn't even on the list of most vol fans. Unless you yourself had jones as number one, maybe you should cut hart some slack.
