UNC Asheville at Tennessee Game Thread - 6 PM

Wow, I was about to sing the praises of the pitcher that just entered and he allowed a leadoff homer.

Sprain...not strain...probably of his wrist...it was a check swing and it's not clear to me whether the ball hit him first or he fouled it into his own wrist...you know because UT won't show the FREAKING GAMES!

Now we just need to see if Nick is playing tough guy or not, but he told Serrano he'd be ready to go tomorrow. CDS said he didn't need to go tomorrow, probably wouldn't be swinging a bat...that's what we know.

Check swings are exactly what usually cause hamate bone injuries

Sorry but this is worth following

After watching all of the post game stuff....a couple thoughts...

When Nick came out of the game the energy here was deflated...but not with the team they kept on keeping on...that's a sign of maturity.

Listening to AHC's post game the thing that struck me was him talking about the older players giving him confidence, specifically JRog...that's also a very good sign.

I like this team, not just because they seem like a bunch of nice young men, but because they lift each other up and they hold each other accountable.

There's something about this group...

totally agree 66, this group may be the most cohesive group in a while. The only issue is our guys are dropping like flies! Hopefully we catch some breaks in the remainder of the season and the guys stay healthy.
