Under The Dome

There before the commercial break the camera was just wobbling left and right like it was swinging from a chandelier.

I think it was implied it was the wall itself. After shooting Jim somewhere it actually counts I'd just drag one of the fallen trees down into the hole and lay it over the gap.

Yeah it was bad, I was waiting for a Sharknado to blow through.

It was the wall, but a hump on the wall. Just need to climb halfway up it and jump. But yeah shooting Jim and using a tree would be better. They are going over the top with Jim too. IMO

Season 1 was 20 times better than this season.

It's because it was never originally developed to last this long. There were some things put in place during the first season that were supposed to go along with the Novel but when they decided to extend it another season because ratings were good those appear to have just been abandoned.

I was thinking it was just supposed to be a one season deal. I think it would have been better that way, I have a feeling they are just gonna flop around everywhere with the storyline now. It's what, week 2? Jim has killed 8-10 people, the town will be all dead in 3 months at this rate anyway.

It's probably going to be around for a 3rd season as well. So what does "going home" mean? No way the 3rd season leads to the townspeople getting out of the dome.

He's just become an annoyance to the whole show.

I wonder if they go so far as to put the dome around Zenith since that is where the egg is now?

For someone who regularly watched SyFy shows. I think some of you take your shows way to seriously. UTD doesn't have/get the same budget that fall season shows do for SFX/CGI etc..

As I expected it was 3rd in the ratings last night but still not as low as I expected.

10 p.m.

NBC: "The Blacklist" season premiere (12.45 million, 7.4/12)
ABC: "Forever" series premiere (8.3 million, 5.6/9)
CBS: "Under the Dome" season finale (7.6 million, 4.6/8)

It's good enough to bring it back next year, especially since it's standalone in the summer and the deal CBS has with Amazon. I wouldn't be surprised if the dome is just caving in on Chester's Mill and ends up following them to Zenith. I do wonder what happens to Big Jim. I'm glad Junior had the balls to shoot his father. I hated Junior in the first season but his character has grown on me.

I think we are doing opposite by poking fun of it. Besides they can't be paying Joe more than 2 dollars an episode, that has to help the budget. :)

I have no doubt that it will be back I just think that CBS should really have had finish up the week before. Even though I was DVRing it I found myself switching back and forth between UTD and Blacklist.

Junior has grown on me as well, and I actually think his acting has improved since early in season 1.

So you also agree with me, interesting.

You were supposed to hate junior because he was going to end up being full psycho until they extended the series and changed his character.

He's the most improved actor on the show. He's grown into his role. I'd say Big Jim, Barbie, Julia, and now Julia are the best actors on the show.

I haven't read the book but if the show does get cancelled, I'll either read it or read the plot line to it.

I highly recommend reading or even listening to the book digitally. I really enjoyed it myself. The only thing I didn't like was the very ending/explanation but still a fun read.

I find that last statement true of a lot of King books.

Nice!

I like the show even with the horrible acting.

Ehh some of the actors are bad, especially Joe's. But Big Jim, Barbie, and Julia are great. Jr has really improved since season one. Norrie has improved a little. The worst one got killed off in the season 2 premiere thankfully.

Good bump. It's been so long since the previous season that I'll probably need to watch the last few episodes in order to refresh my memory.

They film down in Wilmington. My wife had a gig last year as an extra, but couldn't make it.

She is going to be in an episode of Secrets and Lies that airs this spring. Some frat party scene where Ryan Phillipe tackles someone on a pool table.

Just remember they were all trapped in the cave when a portal opened up in the wall.
