I agree w/the earlier post 8.5 dogs, actually i was thinking 9 but in games like this the odds makers like those half points for some demented reason.

Bookies like to lure betors by changing the odds prior to and right up to game time.

Any booky that gives us and 7 points is only looking to lose his mortgage.

5 of the last 7 games were won by 4 points or less. 3 of those were by 2 points one by 3 and one by 4.

Now, I'm calling it 27-10 UT, but I ain't gonna lose the title to my Expedition either. :biggrin2:

i wouldn't exactly say that -1 rushing yards for the first half very good command of the spread option against wyoming but he did throw the ball pretty well.

The guy completed 17 consecutive passes last Saturday! I never said the entire offense is in sync. Obviously, they are not as there was a lot of confusion on some plays and missed blocking assignments, etc. What I said was that Leak has it down and 26-34, including 17 in a row, suggests to me that he does.

Gators have another tune-up and need it. I am convinced that UT will have a lot of success versus the run. But I do think the Gators will score some points out of that offense through the air and so it comes down to whether UT can sustain drives with their running backs and score and keep Leak off the field.

Remains to be seen.

Vols will be 4-7 point underdogs. If the spread comes out with UT being that much of an underdog, will we cover the spread?

Can't wait to hear what Herbstreit and Corso's picks are?

Hoover High Bucs would thrash La techs secondary - If Leak DOSEN"T throw for 350 and 4 TD's, UF may have a problem.

I think we will be underdogs in Gainsville, but if we were in Knoxville, UF would be the underdogs.

But no way double digits, maybe 7 at most.

hirbstreet has florida in the sec ship so i think he will pick florida. corso i dont know. do you htink this will be gameday.

I expect them both to pick Florida, and they have no reason not to. If Corso does pick us, I think it would be alright but I don't think he will.

And I expect Trev Alberts to pick Ruffles over the nachos and salsa while he sits on the couch in Atlanta and watches his old job on TV.

I tend to believe that our players have more to do with winning the game than TV's most highly rated mascot
