your welcome all. so i miss stated the thread title. me bad. i think they should leave the helmets alone. white helmet orange T leave em' be. That's Rocky Top to me!

I would take the black tops over the stupid fake "smokey grey" "official" (yeah right) team color.

Who the hell wears grey uniforms at home? I tell you who, a team that lost their identity and likes to lose a lot and needs some attention.

there is no need to bookmark it, because I wont be back here ever. I'll revoke my volnation citizenship at the first sight of it and wont watch UT go 5-7 again in those idiotic colors at home.

Wear the orange and white (or some variation thereof) and win f'in football games. The SEC wont respect you until you do this. Pride in the f'in "T"!

By the way, what makes anyone think that Adidas is going to give us flashy uniforms after we've kicked them out?

Tennessee is going to be wearing whatever is in the overstock bin. They got to clear out all the orange inventory.

So you would end what I assume is a lifelong relationship with Tennessee football because they wore a uniform you didn't like?

That's exactly what's going to happen. Look at the home games..

Utah State/home opener - no chance of wearing anything but orange and white

Ark State - not significant enough to wear the grey. Will be a high profile game like UGA last year.

UF - coming off 2 losses, need any extra motivation. Think of this game sort of like last years USC game. Redemption from the previous week. This seems like the most plausible. Only issue I see here is, UF's helmets are orange.

Chat - homecoming. 100% orange and white.

Bama - No chance of screwing with that tradition. Also, don't want to go winless in the grey, which Bama is most likely a loss.

Kentucky - Maybe.

Mizzou - Very possible, but I would expect to see the alt uni earlier in the season, rather than the last home game. If going by the same plan as last year, it could be UF AND MIZZ (UGA and Vandy in 2013).
