The position isn't the problem. Its the arrogant attitude of people that think their fanship is more important than what the team itself wants to do. I've read at least a dozen posts s where a poster declares that he will stop watching the Vols if they make uniform changes they don't approve of.

UNC unveiled a NIKE "rebrand" today.

Seems they went to a more "classic" 90's-type look with football and basketball.

I wonder if NIKE has that in mind for us?

That's the first time I have heard "90's" and "classic" used in the same sentence.

Dang, I'm feeling old.

They are not too over-the-top, if you're expecting a radical Nike change, you're going to be disappointed.

Still, I would have preferred something like what North Carolina unveiled yesterday.

The football uniforms are on the latest Nike template, the one Nike used for the uniforms the teams wore in the Playoffs.

So basically it's the same uniform except with a swoosh and a number style change?

Just as long as they don't have that yellow tint to them like in the music city bowl. That was bad. We are the BIG ORANGE not the big yellow...lol!

I wish the patch the supplies the name to the back of the jersey would be in the shape of the state. That would be cool!

I was referring to the very first example. Not all those other over the top ones..

The first one is simple, and keeps the tradition alive that all the older fans love to see. Go look at the Playoff nike uniforms and compare them!
