I think Nike did a fantastic job. Some of the DP comments about some changes "some might not like" were executed perfectly. Love the unis, love the pop of the orange collar on the white top, the checker fade. the smokey mountain helmet... IMO, they did it right. :clapping:

They stayed away from all of the miserable things we saw in the fan concept unis for months.

Bro, you're crazy.................ehhh, not sure what I think about a smokey mountain range on the side of the helmet. Want to see what it looks like with a clearer image to make my ultimate opinion on it though

There is one upside if these are legit.. Nike didn't go Oregon on us. They left some originality to the home and away, with a touch of flair. And regardless if we like the alternates, you know the players will gain some confidence with them. 23 hours and 32 minutes!

can't really tell if its lighting or not, but it looks like the white helmet has a flat finish based on the soft glare from the photo.

I'm not certain if this was true or rumor, but didn't Jones give the guys a choice last season on alternates or school colors. And the guys picked school colors.

it may have been less "choosing school colors" and more saying "those alternates don't look as good as last year" or "if we can get gray helmets with the alternates, if not, orange and white"

Indeed. Add VFL34's comment and I for think the traction is there for this to be real.

The 2 tone shoulder color is so lame if this is legit. The solid grey was the sharpest uniform I've seen in a long time. Was just missing an alternate helmet.

They pushed that subtle helmet design hard. I like it.

As it stands now, the gray elements are not to be mixed with the other uniforms, and the orange/white uniforms were designed with that in mind.

Probably means we won't see the alternates mixed in with the "traditional" parts; i.e. if we go alternate, it will be all alternate, it won't be a gray helmet, orange jersey and white pants (for example).
