A union?? You're reading way to much into this. I just don't get why people freak out over small uniform changes. That's all. I've just always thought stuff like that is for the players; not for me.
Looking back on that game, even though we won, the uni's were cringe worthy. Thought about them when I saw someone post online that they take left over candy corn and make cookies with em..
Mojo?I’m listening to Basilio (who I know many here really dislike) and he’s saying we now have “mojo” with them.
Said we should wear them for rest of season both home and away games.
I kind of like them but I really don’t care all that much.
My favorite game we wore them was the come from behind win at Notre Dame.

95% of the time Every game???? You must not have watched the Vols play in the fourth quarter much this year, may I suggest you view our actual game footage, ESPN. I believe you'll change your mind.I think it's more on the folks saying it looked like we played harder. I think the boys play hard 95% of the time EVERY game regardless of who is playing QB or whatever color pants they are wearing. It's mental for sure, it's just that it's mental to our overzealous fans thoughts and not the players.
Every analyst in the country praised our boys for how hard they played Sat. Pruitt is a fighter, his teams will be too I feel.95% of the time Every game???? Prolly mites. Kids like Nike. That was expressed. The grandiose “competing for Nattys” solely because of apparel is your freebasing tendencies.Nope. People literally said the Nike brand would attract better kids than Adidas because the youts love Nike. Nike would boost recruiting and we'd be competing for Nattys. The fact that you think this is exaggeration on this board makes me scratch my head...
Yes. Don't you feel better in a new suite, or with a new haircut, shoes, outfit. You feel better, have more confidence, etc. Same with unis.Ok, so this may sound a bit ridiculous, but do you think a change in uni's makes a difference - in mindset of players, excitement level, etc? I remember the black uni's Kiffin pulled out for the USCjr game on Halloween 2009 and that team was totally juiced! Also remember the smokey greys being used against FL in our last win against the gators. Saturday's all orange look was different and our guys seemed to come out with a completely different mindset and energy level.
So, do you think a change in uni's has a psychological impact on the players and how they play? If it does, I say change them out every weekend for the rest of the season a la Oregon and let's get this team to a damn bowl game!!!
Nah. It was the Nikephiles trying to equate Nike uniforms with better recruits which would lead to competing for Nattys. I always reminded those posters Vandy had/has Nike....Prolly mites. Could just be coincidence as well. Alabama has the ugliest uniforms in the country and they figure it out every week.In 2009 we beat a good Gamecock team on Halloween in All Black uniforms.
In 2016 we snapped Florida streak in the Smokey Grey Uniforms.
Yeah they absolutely can matter. But they don't always do....
WAIT one second! You are one clever poster-I'll hand you that!! Dog gone you, you went from """EVERY game"", to last Saturday in a hurry! You don't live in D.C. do you? I know a lot of politico types can't seem to stay on point, and just say what they think makes them look good. When you said, """Every Game", did you mean to say last Saturday, and fandom got the best of you, or did you really mean Every Game?Every analyst in the country praised our boys for how hard they played Sat. Pruitt is a fighter, his teams will be too I feel.
