Well for one, Adidas actually had the right shade of orange. I grew up in the 90s with UT football. The orange was a lighter shade, almost yellow. It was more unique. I do enjoy the Nike alternate uniforms though. I just wish they'd get the orange right. You would think the University would put more of a priority on traditions like that. I would be able to forgive it more if Nike would give us an alternate helmet design with the Vols Star script from the 90s or even the rifleman logo. That would be badass on a black or orange helmet. You an adidas sheep too?
Still no word on the Smokey Grey design, but UT is moving to Nike's new template, as most NFL teams are doing. You won't notice a difference unless you look up close, but the collar is very different.
I heard from one source that the numbers are moving from the shoulder to the sleeve, as many are with the new template, but I'm not positive on that.
Nike is being given too much liberty with our uniforms. We have had shoulder numbers since the 1960’s. I hate the new number fonts.Still no word on the Smokey Grey design, but UT is moving to Nike's new template, as most NFL teams are doing. @DeerPark12 are these going to make it on to the field?
