2. I thought we wanted to get away from what prior coaches did. I mean, everyone is petty with names, burning ****, etc.
3. Why do people claim to bleed orange but want it reduced on the uniforms?

Black uniforms may be Heupels “five star hearts”. Doubt we’ll ever see them again after Saturday. Or we’ll never wear orange again. This is a bimodal, high risk play with tradition.

The issue is always what the fabric color does when it gets white.

Is this a deal breaker for you being a Vol fan?

It’s just another color the Vols can take over. We own Orange, White, Gray and now we are about to own Black. It gives me reason to go get some more Vol gear. We should checker Neyland with Orange and Black.

I remember when we just showed up in our historical uniforms, ran it down your throat for 4 quarters, played a real sec brand of defense and laughed at the other schools doing lame/corny gimmicks bc thats all they had. Now were the lame corny school the real SEC teams make fun of. But by all means lets double down on being gimmick U. Its worked so well so far lol

We’ve been changing the uniform for 100 years. We gimmicked the endzones. We gimmicked the entrance onto the field. We gimmicked the fight song. We gimmicked the playing surface. We’ve gimmicked the way we play several times.

Fan gear can be whatever. But clearly so many people never understood the lesson in "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie".
