I will let my bro do the camp write up, but I just wanted to give an update on his son, Levi.
He was told by Wilcox, that he heard a lot of good things about his improvement and attitude since the first camp. It was pretty exciting for him and he received the same comments from CJC, CLT, CCS and other assistants.( yes exciting for VA and myself too) Nothing like boosting a kids confidence having UT coaches call you by name without your hat on. :rock2:
He will be a soph. this year and his HS coach had him and 3 Sr. in a meeting telling them he expects them to be the leaders of the team this year. We know it is a long road to play D1 for him but he is off to a good start. Wish him luck and maybe we will have a future VOL.
One note on the camp, you know most camps separate the big recruits from the other campers. They put the other campers with HS coaches and do not spend time with them. At UT, the position coaches are with all the kids and coaching them as they were coming to UT. Yes they do spend time with the big recruits as they should, but it is done in a way that does not take away from the other campers. I was talking to another parent, his son has been to camps at UT for the past 3 years, and his son said this was the toughest camp he has ever been to. They work these kids from the time it starts until it is over. I am excited about this staff and have been since seeing them in action the first camp.
