more than a half-dozen tennessee targets, including three five-star prospects, are among the prospects who are scheduled to visit the vols this weekend to attend their open practice saturday night at neyland stadium.
Five-star wide receiver kyle davis of lawrenceville, ga., and five-star athlete mecole hardman jr. Of elberton, ga. two of ut's longtime top targets in the 2016 class are expected to headline tennessee's list of weekend visitors, along with five-star class of 2017 defensive back deangelo gibbs of suwanee, ga.
The vols also are scheduled to host top-100 junior athlete maleik gray of la vergne (tenn.) high school, four-star senior defensive lineman emmit gooden of haywood high school in brownsville, tenn., four-star 2017 linebacker breon dixon of peachtree ridge high school in suwanee, ga., and four-star wide receiver princeton fant of la vergne (tenn.) high school.
Two other tennessee targets three-star defensive tackle marlon dunlap of west charlotte (n.c.) high school and three-star 2017 linebacker jacob phillips of east nashville (tenn.) magnet school also are expected to visit the vols on saturday.
Tennessee also is scheduled to host two class of 2018 prospects who are drawing early interest from the vols: Defensive tackle deandre litaker of oakland high school in murfreesboro, tenn., and wide receiver jarek campbell of murfreesboro's riverdale high school.
