Update on Ainge- The Sequel

Yeah, me as well. I think he'll start, and depending on his level of play, we may see Crompton.

EA will indeed start. I truly believe the coaching staff has made way more of his injury than needed be, for what reason I'm not sure. Maybe to get in LSU's head, maybe by talking about how gimpy Ainge is going to be LSU's defense will go to extra lengths to put extra pressure on him and allow us to develop something we've been missing all season long... a dominant rushing attack! That has to be it, while LSU defenders are now brainwashed into delivering the knockout blow to EA, the coaching staff will exploit the over agressiveness and run draw plays and quick slants to take advantage!
What do you all think? Sounds good (and probably way to hopeful) to me!
GO VOLS!

I think it is more the "I look retarded when I run but we called a QB draw from 5 yds out anyway" jinx

I don't intend to be sexist or anything in saying the following:

Having a night out on the town with a girlfriend could go a long way towards recovery. More power to him.

He'd probably have been sitting at Cutcliffe's house watching tape of last year's LSU game if Cut was uncomfortable with him playing in anyway. I say EA starts and Crompton selectively used.

Ainge is not playing. Period.

I can't see how you think that. He had a great practice yesterday and was able to do most things well, except for some rapid backpeddling.

Ainge expects to play, and Fulmer believes he will play too.

If you have a source that is closer to the issue than those two guys, my compliments.

No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to stop repressing Spurrier.

My psychiatrist says it's only normal, but it's been a decade and a half now, and, technically, he is my pusher.... the psychiatrist, I mean... Okay, Spurrier makes me want drugs too, but he doesn't actually supply them.

I think.

Maybe I should hire somebody to check my psychatrist's phone records........

I think the boot thing might be just the thing for your problems , just up the voltage some.

Yep...that's exactly what the papers say alright.:whistling:

The papers say that because that is what Coach Fulmer said in his post-practice comments. Do you think Chris Low, Brent Hubbs, or even the News-Sentinel guys are making it up?

Just have Ainge run the offense from the shotgun. That'll minimize alot of the backpedalling he has to do. I'm guessing we see alot of shotgun tomorrow.

No...I think sports-reporters, much like meteorologists, are infallible and always print the gospel...especially when they are only allowed to view a small portion of practice.

As for Coach Fulmer.....chalk it up to gamesmanship. He's just doing his job.

I agree and expect the same, lots of shotgun and one back set, 4 WRs.

Don't bet the house on what the reporters say. They are just regurgitating what CPF tells them. Rememeber that TN's practices are essentially closed now.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if EA didn't play. With JC getting the reps and the coaches talking him up in the paper, it sounds a lot to me like he's going to be the guy. But I haven't talked to anyone over there or been to practice lately.

If Boro knows someone over there, I'd be inclinded to take his word for it until I hear something different.

If they blitz throw to the RB's. Yes we will see a lot of shot gun and little Crompton.

Just wrapped up my final session with the head man.....No Ainge on Sat...Crompton for 4 qtrs. He's ready, and will take it to LSU.

Rest easy....this kid is pumped and is a player....only resitriction is he cannot audible without a sideline confirmation...

This all sets up for a storybook ending. You know...where Ainge comes in the 4th quarter with us losing and rallies us to victory?

Seriously. A man can't walk around with his female without a mess of cats on a message board analyzing where he was at and what he was doing.

This is pretty wack.
