Why do we care anymore what Orgeron did?? He's not here, move on. I REALLY REALLY REALLY am trying to forget about the last staff, because they did nothing to help honestly at this point. It's Dooley's ship now, so please get on board.

1. Pretend everything about the last staff was terrible, and the current staff is vastly superior in every way.

OR

2. Be a closet USC and Kiffin fan.

Pretending like the last staff did us any favors at this point is foolish. They aren't here, and we need to move on as a fanbase.

Also, it's going to be a long season of bonding between the coaching staff and players, plus trying to feel each other out during the first half of the season to see how each reacts to on the field situations in game. 2-6 is a possibility at this point to start the season.

That's reality.

If someone thinks the last staff only looked at recruiting services when giving out offers and didn't really evaluate players, they are living in a fantasy world. Moving on has nothing to do with it.

Your problem is not that he mentioned the last staff otherwise you would have made this comment to the person who brought the last staff into the discussion. Your problem is that he defended the last staff.

Defending the last staff is pointless as well, just like blasting Fulmer for the shape the program is in. It's all pointless, because neither are here. Get with the now, IMO.

Integrity?? What does integrity have to do with anything?? Defending anyone who is not associated with the current staff is pointless. It's like working at your job where you keep bringing up how great your last manager was in front of the new one. Pointless.

Stating false statements is dishonest. Correcting those statements is not. That's integrity.

Both. Why do either?? What does either prove at this point?? It proves nothing because the last staff isn't here anymore. People always complained about the Fulmerites living in the past, and now some of those same people defend a man who used us to launch his college career again and left us without an identity for the 2nd straight year. Like I said, get with the now.

I'm done attacking the last staff, because it is pointless honestly. I should have just moved on and let the circus leave town without making a big deal about it.

Exactly. We have to focus on now, because the past in football, is just that, the past. We have a mission to get this team back to where it needs to be, and Dooley needs all the help and support he can get.

Perhaps because you are fine seeing the last staff mentioned as long as it is negative.

Ok, both should forget about questioning and defending anything about the last staff. It's done, they are gone, move on. The season is getting closer, and yet, at least on here, we are still divided as a fanbase, even more than at the end of '08. Time to suck it up and get aboard for this staff's goals. Hey if you don't want to be a part of it, fine, I'm not going to question anyone's fanhood at all, just don't get in our way.
