If I understand it right the one time transfer rule is done to some extent now. If you were not in it on July 1, you will not get that one time transfer. It was for this year only so anyone wanting to transfer now will have to sit a year or move down levels to be eligible so that is going to be tough. That is why the draft hurt this year because guys did not know how many were going and how many were staying by the transfer deadline for the one time transfer.Or is that a bad thing...cause sophs and junior's not gonna sit another yr...they more likely to hit transfer market? Just asking is all
Thanks for posting! I forgot about that. We reload with another Hunley in the 2022 class and another Rucker in the 2023 class. Maybe those guys will be part of a natty with the path paved by this team and their older siblings. I love where this program is headed!Minnesota Twins draft Pope John Paul II grad Jake Rucker
post-draft interview with Jake Rucker
excerpt:
“I’m super proud of our class,” Rucker said. “Going in, we told each other we would turn this program around and get it back to where it was — which is Omaha — and help put UT baseball back on the map. I think we did that, and it is a great feeling knowing we have made things easier recruiting wise for those coaches to get the best players from Tennessee and the best players from around the country. It’s also exciting (that) my little brother will be there in a couple of years to experience it all.”
