That game will forever live in infamy. The silver lining I guess is that it sent us a clear message that you never overlook an SEC game, especially on the road. Every player, and every fan (including me), thought we would sleep walk through that one.

I think we have a chance at winning this game as long as 9 of thier players aren't arrested and suspended the week before the game, no backup QB takes the field at any point, and we have at least a 31pt lead and possession with under 4 minutes left in the 4th Q.

Vols were awesome against the spread, UF basically had a backdoor cover with that crazy sequence of events at the end.

I really hope they do hire a good coach, Georgia has had it easy with Auburn and Florida being down, and they probably aren't our permanent opponent after this year.

If you want the real dark ages, I say 2010-2020 because that’s when we truly became a joke. We went 6-5 against Vanderbilt in those years. 2000-2009, we went 9-1. Enough said.

The Swamp can be crazy as hell, so we need to jump out to a quick 2 score lead early. I don't think they have the horses to make a comeback with their offense.

2 things concern me a bit in this game. Our history vs the Gators and how we did on the road last year. Yes, we were amazing in Baton Rouge, but we played pretty poorly in the other 3 true road games (Pitt, SC, UGA).

Having said that, I still like us to win this year against the Gators.
