Upon Returning From OKC...

Thoughts from the weekend:

1. For those of you who have criticized me for accurately describing Cal as the fraud they obviously are, a message: I'm not laughing with you, I'm laughing at you.
2. For those of you who kept asking those of us who said Arkansas would be good this year "What are you talking about?", I believe you got your answer last night.
3. Darren McFadden is the best running back in the SEC since Jamal Lewis, possibly since Bo Jackson.
4. If the Lady Vols recruited players who looked like Stacey Dales, and had a coach who looked like Sherri Coale, I might actually attend some women's basketball games.
5. On second thought, no I wouldn't.
6. UT needs better celebrity fans. We have Kenny Chesney, David Keith and Sterlin Marlin. OU, for example, has James Garner, Toby Keith, and Jim Ross. Advantage OU.
7. Stone Cold Steve Austin was at JR'S barbecue booth yesterday. The man's popularity is truly a phenomenon.
8. If Southern Cal wins out, they'll be playing the OSU-Michigan winner in the BCS Championship game.
9. Jeremy Foley just took his first breath since the fourth quarter yesterday. So did Urban Meyer.
10. Sans steroids, Brian Bosworth isn't very imposing.
Concerning 4 and 5.With the boys football/basketball struggles in years gone by, the girls basketball prgram always seemed to be in the mix for the final 4 and or N/C game. That said, this is one reason I enjoy girls basketball.I enjoy winners!

And besides, does anybody really think there will be a one-loss SEC team at the end of the season?

Florida's talented but plays a sloppy, penalty-laced game and Arkansas has no real passing threat.

Where is Florida's second loss going to come from?

They got a real buzzsaw of a team coming up this weekend...

But, if the Gators don't show up and the Criminoles get clutch, FSU could pull a fast one at home. Then there's always the SECCG.

Arkansas still has LSU then the SECCG.

maybe in the SEC championship, depends who they play if LSU and thats a big if plays them again it might turn out differntly but what do I know

but what is the likely hood of them losing to MSU and LSU back to back if that happened who represent the west then

#44
also Auburn got shut out at home by Arky, would it then be just a two way tie between LSU and Arky, and then would it come down to who won the last game

Why Auburn? LSU would be the highest ranked team.
It goes to that funny BCS rule, that throws out the third team. Then the last two are decided by their head to head matchup. At least, that is how it was a couple years ago when we had the 3 way tie in the East.

No, because Auburn beat LSU.

No matter what I think Arky will go to the SEC championship, but if it wasn't them Auburn might get in but doesn't deserve it, it would be like us going to it. Although we haven't got soundly beaten at home like Auburn by unranked opponents like they have
