Yep. In fact here in Spokane I am finally seeing spiders in my apt for the first time ever. Been here 4 years, top floor. Never seen them til this year.

I've pulled out 5-6 cockroaches from ear canals, half of which were still alive when I found them. Earlier this summer, I found a fire ant in an ear that had apparently stung the poor kid while he was sleeping. I also dug a sweat bee out of a teenager's eye socket a while back.

No spiders yet, though. And, definitely no ORANGE ones.

Interestingly, the day after I posted that, a kid came in with an "earache," and I anesthetized and pulled out a 2 cm cockroach. Biggest one I've ever seen in an ear. I thought my nurse was going to puke.
