Shiano defense was horrid this year outside of Michigan and they weren’t even great that day

All the jokes are justified.

However, he is one hell of a coach.

I personally think he is similar to Larry Brown or Bill Parcells in that he burns himself out, but can’t stay away.

Regardless of X’s and O’s, wins and losses, and all personal feelings aside, he’s a scum bag and a terrible person.

The health **** ain’t bs imo

You can just look at him when he was at UF he looked sickly and lost a bunch of weight

And I fully believe he’s struggling with his health now head aches and stress and probably just working himself ragged

He doesn’t have figured out like Saban

Urban has dominated the big10 since he got that just look at his record

Can't stand the guy, but I think the health concerns are legit, and...

17 Seasons
186-32 Record
12 Ten-Win Seasons
10 Top-Ten Finishes
7 Conference Championships
3 National Championships
10-3 Bowl Record
Best W/L Percentage of the Modern Football Era (D-1)

Dude has had an incredible run.

2 things

Why not CGS since he’s so “great”

Tennessee better hurry or we’ll miss the boat again. I’ve said before I thought it would be Friend and it sadly looks like that’s the choice.

When he’s focused he can compete on Sabans level.

Wont, if you would read the damn press release, it tells you who is their next permanent head coach.
Wow. You’re a cheery one. Joke much? With all of the speculation on Freeze it was just that, a joke. Besides, won’t they be looking for an OC now that theirs is taking over HC duties? Don’t let something like humor get in the way of your mission to ruin Christmas though. Ba-humbug.

Well, now we can see that progressive northern mindset in action as they promote Schiano to the Head Ball Coach and just keep moving forward.

We dumb 'ol southern folk need the lesson on how it's done. And I bet no one up there will be complainin' 'bout Schiano's grammar, either.

Schiano was good enough to be Tennessee HC, but not at OSU. I believe that tells us all we need to know about him.

Yeah...he had a miraculous recovery from what was ailing him at Fla to be able to take the OSU job...

Come on, dude. It's just the same 'ol Urby....except this time they're attacking his character instead of his coaching/recruiting ability....

Wow!

Urbie's health was so bad at Fla and he was under such intense strain with his heart that it took him a whopping 8 months to take over at OSU.

He has dominated the big-10 because Michigan was on the downslide and his only true challenge was MSU and Wisconsin.

OSU's cupboard was LOADED with talent and their schedule is always one of the easiest in the country.

The B1G is a JOKE of a conference...

Health issues should never be joked about but he’s not helping himself by quitting and taking another high stress job.

Even you can admit he quit because the gravy train was over at Florida. He let those guys run wild down there and it took at toll.

True

But he also looked sickly and lost a lot of weight

There will come a day when it leaks out that this was agreed upon back before Urban was suspended. tOSU got to posture like they cared, Urban got to be "vindicated," and they all got to move on before more terrible crap surfaced.
