Can you please link to the reality Mr. Wright?
That certainly seems like Florida would be allowed an extra coach to recruit since a LoA is considered a non-employee status in the state of Florida.
That might be the case if Florida didn't already have a couple assistant coaching vacancies, or if the interim coach wasn't already on the coaching staff.
But if Lane can accuse Meyer of cheating without knowing the rules, I guess you can too.
Can you link me to that interpretation of the rules per the NCAA?
That's what I'm asking for.
How about you do a little research yourself, seeing as how you're the one questioning what Meyer can/can't do.
Here's the link....report back with your findings....
The Official Web Site of the NCAA - NCAA.org - NCAA.org
If Meyer can recruit and do everything else he would typically do in the offseason, what exactly is the purpose of this "leave?"
To keep him from coaching the ever-stressful spring game?
I never said they were violating NCAA rules. Read my post.
I said they were cheaters...and they are. See history.
I read it, and you implied that Meyer could be violating NCAA rules by contacting recruits during his leave of absence.
You then asked for someone else to do your homework for you.....isn't that the very definition of cheating?
