To read some of your posts, you'd think Meyer never had any success before coming to Florida...and Kiffin's had nothing but success before coming to Knoxville.

You guys are really entertaining.

Apparently so. Why else would you be on a Tennessee board so often?

We'd like to be entertained too! Post something interesting for us.

Okay here goes....Lane Kiffin has never had success as a head coach at any level, but many here think he's a couple recruiting classes away from competing for a national title.

Urban Meyer on the other hand has won two national titles, 4 BCS bowl games and has been named National Coach of the Year twice, and in spite of his recent leave of absence Florida will likely have a higher rated recruiting class than Tennessee....again....

Nothing there was interesting. Nice try though, thanks for playing.

How does your rapidly approaching 4 loss season feel? Does it cause to you awake at night in sweats remembering the Ron Zook days?

Facts are not always interesting.

As far as a 4-loss season goes, I'm not sure how I'll react if that happens.

Tell me how you dealt with it the past few years so I know what to expect.

Still hearing that Urbie and UF will be hit with some major violations yet to come and that's why he's stepping away now. I guess we'll just wait and see.

Really?

Go on....tell me more about what you're hearing.

Here I thought Meyer was stepping down because he's afraid of Kiffin.

Well, look at it this way. You know nothing more than I do. I'm going off an article I read. You're making statements off of what you feel and from being a fan. UF could have the roof blow off next week or next month. You haven't a clue either.

And why are you here?

That article you read, was it the same article that said Meyer was leaving UF for Notre Dame?

As for why I'm here, it's because you guys are so accommodating to rival fans.

You just keep believing that your program is pristine and pure and there's nothing that can come back to bite you. Tebow isn't going to be there to be your hall monitor now.

LW,
These are the same fans that at the start of the year all but guaranteed a 9-10 win season from their illustrious coach and his all star staff. They wanted instant return to greatness and need to realize it takes time. Our coach has proved to be a winner wherever he has been of course they will have you believe he inherited the talent and Tebow (one player) was the key to his latest success.

You must have been reading another board. The vast majority expected what we got.

I think the SECE is wide open next year. The loss of numerous seniors, Strong, Mullen*, Tebow, and possibly Meyer should be cause for concern amongst Gator fans.

* I know Mullen left last year. However your offense was anemic this year. You mentioned Meyer has been a success everywhere. He has never been successful without Mullen.

That is a good observation and I certainly would like to see an improvement in offensive production. With Brantley's skills necessitating an altered offense, the credit or blame for the Gator offense will be difficult to pinpoint.

UF avg'd the same amount of yardage..the only difference was the redzone..35 pts a game will still suffice i guess

You'd like to think that, but 90% of our fans realize this is a process.

Thanks. I like getting perspective from a guy that's been following football for 5 years.
