IIRC there were some dum bass posters boasting that they "wouldn't miss" if they had a shot.

It takes somebody special to shoot at a military bird . Even the idiots around here know better . It would take about 5 mins before the blacked out SUVs came rolling up on your grass . Lol

My best friend lived on the top of Pilot Mnt back in VA, had a perfect view of the valley below, pretty regularly the military (AF and Navy) would use the valley to practice attack runs. They'd come in so low that we could see down into the cockpits from his deck.

Here hold my beer ?
The biggest thing for me is was it one shot, where there is a dumb arse. "I didnt think I would hit it". Or multiple shots, which would show intent.

Both deserve jail time. But potentially different amounts.

We have these E-2 Hawkeyes with the disks on them that circle around 24/7 .. you know NOT gathering up any data from American citizens because it’s “illegal“ . 😂

No, either scenario deserves harsh punishments. I have no sympathy for the shooter regardless of how.

Oh I agree. Wont shed a tear. I just figured VA would have laws differentiating.

Idk something like assault with a deadly weapon vs attempted murder.
