Before we moved to Florida we had passes at Ober and Sugar Mtn. But my mom has a place at Massanutten where we ski when we don't go out west. I used to think I preferred skiing in the east but now love skiing out west. snow is like butter.

In my youth I skied about all the VA, WVA and NC resorts then in 95 we went to Breckenridge for the first time. It was a completely new experience skiing on powder instead of ice.

I only know that place because I mispronounced it once at the Sheetz. Got some dirty looks

I’ve traveled up 81 way more times than I can count going from Chattanooga or Knoxville to the Canadian border at Thousand island bridge , just up from Watertown NY .

My PTSD is kicking in this morning. We got shot at in Bosnia, didn’t know it til we got back to Ramstein and holes we’re all over the rear fuselage. Didn’t hit any components thank god.
It's worse knowing it. We were waiting to board a chopper in the Central Highlands of Vietnam and could hear rounds ricochet off the steel tarmac before you hear the pop...pop....pop.

That’s had to be terrifying.

Hog.. with you my man. I thought it was the best to ski on ice because I was on the edge...Then this year we went to Idaho and skied on real powder and it was magical. My daughter and I looked at each other after reaching bottom of the mountain on the first run and were like oh my. That was fun. Really fun.
