way to much focus on Dwight in my opinion. Really over the top, and over acted for me.
Garreth is so creepy, both on camera and implied. It's great.

I liked Pam more than Dawn.

UK theme song also better.

This. I feel like they try and force Dwight on the viewer sometimes because they realized everyone liked the weird guy. From I've seen on the UK version so far, they emphasized that Gareth was the weird guy, but didn't go out of their way to convey that.

I like both versions of the Office but count me in the camp that thinks the British version is better.

Haven't seen the British version of Being Human but I do watch the one on Sci-Fi.

Dwight is the reason why I hate The Office. Characters like him make me want to throw stuff at the television.

You said the British didn't have 3 episodes that weren't funny. That's not that difficult if there's only 14 episodes. The American version was money seasons 2-3

Yep, it was, but that was 4 years ago.

Ok how about this, I'll take the show with 14 great episodes over the one with 6 season in which only 2-3 were any good. Is that better?

A British friend and coworker pointed out today that the reason why British shows are far funnier is because they don't worry about stretching the seasons out and they can pack the laughs in tighter. They end the shows after 2-3 seasons. The actors are doing it for the art, rather than the constant paycheck.

'Peep Show' and 'That Mitchell and Webb Look' are both solid British comedies. Peep Show airs on BBC America. Netflix has some of the other (and maybe Peep Show by now). Just thought I'd mention that.
