I'm sure the reasoning is something about how he benefits from the scheme, and in their head, other receivers are more talented.

There in is a problem. All SEC isn’t really or shouldn’t be about “talent” or “scheme.”

Simply how player A or B preformed.

No receiver in the SEC preformed better or was as consistent all season.

However I definitely get ya, and something like that has to be the reasoning.

As far as the defense goes, I do think we have a few freshmen that will make All SEC in the coming years. Joshua Josephs, Tyre West, Elijah Herring, James Pearce and Kalib Perry I noticed all got significant snaps throughout the season and played well overall. Tyler Baron had a nice season on the D line and could look to make All SEC honors as a senior. With the other Freshmen D linemen we have committed, no way we don't put several on that list next season and beyond. That D line will be one of the more formidable in the SEC imo. Pay Rodney!

Just saw this on the Commercial Appeal website . Good for Hendon and Josh!

USA TODAY Sports Network 2022 All-SEC football team and awards

Quarterback: Hendon Hooker, Tennessee
Wide receiver: Jalin Hyatt, Tennessee
Offensive line: Darnell Wright, Tennessee

Coach of the Year: Josh Heupel, Tennessee
Player of the Year: Hendon Hooker, Tennessee

looking at the players on the list, I think they got mixed up on which Byron Young they were voting for, it shoulda said Tennessee

This list is complete Bull$hit if it doesn't contain all-everything best QB in the draft Will "Mayonnaise" Levis and his .500 lifetime record vs. Vanderbilt.

yea, I meant that as a joke.
He’s my favorite kicker next to the Florida one in our 98 title season.
Im too lazy to look up his name.
I just remember his Miss and John Wards call…”Noooo SIRRR Reeeeeeee!” Chills and goosebumps.
