1. Surprised Duke isn't on. Did Spurrier forget to vote?
2. Auburn and ND don't belong anywhere near that list.

I could understand giving Auburn a bit of a nod for finishing on top last year. Sort of a "benefit of the doubt" out of respect to the champ. There's no excuse for ND. What's worse, their abysmally easy schedule guarantees like 9 wins. With them starting out ranked, they'll finish decently ranked without having to have accomplished much. And top 15 equals BCS bid. What a crock.

It's a crock, but we could get to see them get murderized by someone.

That'll help fuel some more BCS hate.

ND just needs to join a conference. The schedules they have are just too easy

The only week of the year where I root for USC.

ND also closes on the road at Stanford, they could get crushed there as well. Other than that, unless Michigan State had a fluke season, 'Furd and USC are it.

This is off topic but I didn't want to start a thread just to ask. I was looking at ESPN's college football standings and it shows that the Big 12 still has a North/South division. Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri/Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech. Are they really going to have divisions split 4/6? I figured they were just going to get rid of divisions.

Maybe Txvol can answer my question?

Is the Big 12 still going to have a conference championship with 4 teams in the north and 6 teams in the south?

No.

1. You have to haev 12 teams to have a title game.
2. They are going to play round-robin 9 conference games.

No divisions.

ND should finish top 25. Though, they are starting their worst quarterback, in my opinion.

Their O-line is still young, but they started like... all of them as Freshman last year, right? I don't recall.

I think they can surprise people. They won't make a BCS bowl game, but I'd say their pre-season is about their end of season ranking.

I guess we'll see.
