the last two people I am concerned with in college football are Tee Martin and Lane Kiffin.

Good Luck in their future endeavors. Bigger fish to fry round here.

alot of people say its too far from home for him but they kept tee so i say its 60/40 USC favor

Oh ok. Well it would suck for him to go to one of The Vols rivals. However if he really is as good as people say he is then I would rather see him play in The sec rather then play for that clown on The west coast. Even if thats means he will be playing against UT.

I hope he's a Vol...if not just stay out west. Do not want him on one of Vol's rival teams.

Just a thought....Tee flee across country to meet with CBJ to look him in the eyes to see if UT was in good hands...only to turn the job down before he left...or to spit on UT in the front of the whole College beat writers....to again throw shame our way...after a terriable 2012 season...Look Im not TEE and from my propective he did what I would expect of LK to throw us under the bus again or anytime he can...I think maybe he is drinking too much of the LK juice...NOT what I would expect from our NC QB....What was some of the head lines...Not even TEE wanted back in a UT

One of the poters had it right...PAT HAYDEN is watchin...and im sure he is NOT good friends with Kiffy

We don't know why Tee said no. He may just be a 100% normal person and prefer life as an extremely well paid man in LA. Knoxville is great and I live here myself, but making what he does while living in LA has to have its perks.

Seriously, Tee did not do anything to put Tennessee in a bad light in the media. Don't be so butthurt. Think about it, USC as WR coach or UT as WR coach? Los Angeles vs Knoxville? It was a LATERAL move after only being in the position for a year. I would have stayed too.

Not to mention, it was reported that his wife is aspiring to be a signer. Pretty sure she has a better chance at realizing her dream in LA.

If CBJ had offered him a promotion and he turned us down I could see some anger from Tennessee fans but for a lateral move? I don't blame Tee. In a couple of years we can hire him as OC and he will come home!

GBO.

After they lose their bowl game he is getting fired.

He's already been guaranteed by the AD that he's coming back next season.

And besides they still need him to weather the actual scholarship losses (which they had just rolled over with an appeal, still has to happen) and the rest of their probationary period (which was separate from - and longer than - their bowl ban)

Not me. I like seeing The best players play in The best conference even if its not with UT.

So you enjoy teams like Bama, LSU, and UF beating us badly? Look, it's just one thing to want that when your team's actually good enough to say "bring it," but it's a whole different thing to want that with a team that needs to catch up ground with the others...

Kiffin was hired to be their transitional coach through the NCAA penalties. He sold them that he might be more than that, but he's not. He's their Mike Shula. When the schollie reductions are done, so will his SC career. He's lost most of their fans, just a matter of time now. Watching this circus sideshow unfold will be fun to see. He'll turn on SC at some point. It's in his nature.

Who DOESN'T enjoy Kiffin sadness? Does anybody REALLY like him? I mean his dad probably liked him ... until he was forced out as DC. The guy is a mondo tool.

Hatred or poking fun is still a form of acknowledgment and acceptance. Indifference would be the greatest insult to Kiffin. He loves the spotlight, we keep giving it to him. He loves attention, we lavish him with it.

The best thing we can do for us is the worst thing we could do for him - move on and ignore his current antics. A lack of attention is the best way to bruise his ego.
