USC De-Commits list

:realmad: Don't even talk about it!!!! :vava:

:neener2: I hope not too!

That won't happen. USC is looking to hire a coach right now, and Lane isn't doing it. Also, as much as I love Coach O, USC isn't hiring him as their HC. After that, I don't see CEO leaving Lane & Co. to work under Oregon State's coach...feel safe Vol fans.

If the NCAA puts a 5 year sanction on them then I don't know what coach would even want to go out there.

If any of what I read is correct ..... 5 years on probation (no bowl games) and 10 or more lost scholorships along with extreme scrutiny with any further recruiting ..... If I am a USC commit, I'm backing out and going to the SEC or if I want to stay closer to home then Oregon and Washington are looking real good at this time.

If this is correct, what kid would wanna go his whole career with no post season play? I mean forget the BCS NC, they cant even play in any bowl at all?? If this happens and kids dont decommit, IMO I see some of them transferng after their freshman year.

Have you ever actually been out there? I would take women from the South over their's 7 days a week.

Yes I have been, and you are insane and clearly hanging out with the wrong women. You can keep the fake plastic surgery enhanced women on the west coast and we will keep the gorgeous sothern belles all over the south.

Theres alot of news on ESPN that another Tennessee coach may get the call from USC, Jeff Fisher. He is a USC guy, he's been with the Oilers/Titans 15 years, maybe he is ready for a change. From what I just heard on ESPN First Take, Oregon St. HC is stayin there. Its all up in the air right now.

Prater is probably the only legit shot we get. Wright is a Trojan no matter what. Washington will probably be the major benefactor from this if Sark stays there.

and I'm completely ok with that.:rock:

East Tennessee has surfing. How could you choose California waves over this?

Prater via LA Times:

"I tried to talk to coach Carroll, but he didn't answer his phone. I talked to coach (John) Morton and he doesn't know anything either. He doesn't know if he has job security because if they bring someone else in, they may have their own coaching staff."

and....again....

"I don't know, I'd have to see who they bring in," said Prater, who has already been contacted by Florida and Notre Dame. "I'd have to see what wide receiver coach they would bring in . . . I don't know."

Kippy needs to introduce himself and fast......:shades:

Sentreal Henderson - #1 high school prospect on USC (via Rivals):

"I think with Pete Carroll leaving it changes a lot of stuff," said Henderson. "The whole city looks up to that guy, and for him to be leaving, I know they're going to lose a couple of recruits because of it."

Can someone fill me in on what the recruiting violations were at USC? This punishment along with coaches leaving will take many years to recover from.

Quote from Baxter via SB Nation:

"[5-Star recruit Dillon] Baxter dreamed of playing for Carroll at U.S.C. but said it was now a "hot possibility that I’ll change." His high school recruiting coach has already been flooded with calls from programs like Florida, Oregon, Tennessee, U.C.L.A. and Arizona, he said."

If USC does get hit hard by the NCAA, I sure hope CLK and CEO are not mentioned. That would definitely give other coaches more ammunition...

All this talk of recruiting has me fired up. One question though, anyone know anything about the coaching situation?

Do we have the RB/ST position filled or what? I thought Biscaccia was a done deal? Do we have a shot at the RB coach at USC I know he has been talked a lot about in these posts. You know his resume would be attractive to a lot of future backs to come through UT...

We could have some trouble with some of these de-commits if any change to Oregon... They could dress out in those ugly green uniforms and line up against us the next two years...

Would you leave the west coast beaches, and all those hot women out there??? Would be hard for me and I really love Tennessee... Women out there take DA** good care of themselves, not to many 10 chins like here..

I have lived in both places and I have got to say that the women at UT are some of the best you will find. Not only are they good looking, they are sweet as can be too. In Cali, women can be ruthless.

I'm wondering how it'll affect those that haven't committed yet.
Chaz Green (who already has UT at the top of his list) is also considering USC, which I think is now blown out of the water.

I'm not really concerned about whether or not Prater decides to leave USC for UT. He's sick, but I'm not sure we really need him. Teague and Moore stepped up (Teague as a true freshman) and we'll have Thompkins and Ambles. I'd rather have a handful of good receivers than a single predictable target.

There's is no such thing as banning a program from bowls during a probation anymore, just ask Bama and FSU.
