The great Peyton Manning had ONE season that's was better than Darnold was this year. And that's only because he threw more Tds. Almost every other stat was better. Same amount of wins. Also beaten by rival (Florida) (Notre Dame) and smoked in the bowl game. I'm not saying I like Darnold or think he's in the same universe as Manning, I'm just stating facts. And fact is he was in no way disappointing. Definitely not perfect but who is?

He was better last year. He cost the team games this season and put them in danger of losing more. He was disappointing.
