USC Please Give me a break.

So USC didn't live up to the hype and you appear to have been right about something.............And then you follow it up with a truly mindless statement, you do realize saying USC is a bad team does make you look pretty foolish don't you?

I guess I could clean that up. They're a good team not anywhere near a great team. They've been said to be almost unbeatable. People were hollering they would beat Georgia no problem. From what I saw last night don't think it would be close as people would make it. Georgia is more explosive with a back that's pretty slippery in Moreno couple that with emerging receivers and thats a bad recipe for USC.:)

No, it isn't. That Georgia offense is the type of team that USC would match up better against, they don't run with a small shifty speed guy (though Moreno is shifty and has good speed, just not like the guy we saw last night). USC is still better than this Georgia team. Georgia is not even the best team in our conference IMO.

Wow you were okay. But Georgia is better than USC. Sorry they are the best team in our conference. A.J. Green has taken that offense to another level. So who's the best team in the conference?

Florida, in a landslide.

Probably LSU or maybe even Bama at this point. Goergia has still yet to shut down a good team on defense yet and are still a little untested on that end of the ball. And as we know in the SEC defense sets teams apart from the rest.

I'm actually going with LSU. Florida will have a chance to prove me wrong in a couple of weeks when the Tigers come calling...but, until then, I think the boys from the bayou are very slightly better than Florida and Georgia.

You'll see they have a good defense. And remember this is comin from Lockdown1 Mel Kiper's number 1 rival.:eek:lol:

Now thats just lame.

USC always loses one game to a scrub every year, for some reason they only get up for big games. For that reason I would still take them over UF,LSU, UGA etc. I would say UF has the best chance to beat them in a BCS game though.

The crappy thing about USC losing is this though. This will probably give tOSU a mulligan, I think the SEC kills eachother to much and a BCS game will probably have a OSU vs OK. Sucks but, OSU will be there in the end.

Nah, OSU is out.

If SC runs the table from here, they'll be in the championship game....their opponent will be a 1-loss Oklahoma, or the SEC champ.

I agree, OSU won't get the benifit of the doubt anymore. OK or USC vs SEC

Good or great teams get upset all the time. Perhaps this should be informative of those saying the pac-10 sucks. OSU could have beaten an awful lot of teams last night. For some reason they suck horribly on the road early in the season, but every year riley puts together a good team.

It does seem road games in the PAC-10 are harder than people think. I don't claim to follow the PAC-10 but it seems there is always 1 great team (USC) and a bunch of good teams that can all beat each other on any given day.

Didnt the beavers get taken behind the woodshed against Penn State a couple weeks ago?

I will still stick to my guns and say that USC is the only team out of that conference that deserves any credit, I am sorry Droski but its just a weak football conference. SEC, Big12 and Big10 are all better imo.

yes and they got taken to the woodshed by cinci last year and boise state the year before that. both of those years they eventually won 9 games and won their bowl games. Every year this happens. For some reason they suck royally on the road early in the season. Not sure why exactly, but I wouldn't read a lot into that penn state score.

I seriously don't think it's Florida, unless they have a few more gears I haven't seen yet (which is entirely possible).
All I'm saying is that Tebow has been awful to this point and I don't expect that to be a permanent problem.

I just wonder if Florida's offense with the new weapons may not be getting to complex for Tebow maybe.

To everyone out there that doubted me your apologies are accepted. Wow this team here I tell ya. I've been bashed and bashed but in the end a bad teams come to the light and USC did in wonderful fashion for the whole world to see. USC lost and point is proven. This is hilarious.:eek:lol:

usc has made it a routine the last few seasons to drop a game or two. it doesn't mean they still aren't one of the most prestigious teams in the country.

Looks like my national title prediction might need to be changed.

I'll say Florida vs Oklahoma.

I guess I was the only one that was pissed off that USC lost. I guess USC has started to grow on me in the past couple of years. I mean, I just like the way Pete Carroll and that team do things out there in LA.

I actually think the lack of the great athletes has been part of the problem. That, mixed with the fact that he's not the drop back passer that his fans fancy him to be.

Its not the athletes its the experience. Andre Caldwell hurt more than a lot of people think.
it's the athletes. His receiving corps has dropped off dramatically and Harvin has been hobbled. His greatness last year was steeped in the horses around him and the fact that every goal line visit was a touchdown op for him. Meyer was bent on that Heisman and that's why Tebow ran 3 straight or passed on every visit inside the 2.

And I will absolutely agree with these other posters

a) if you think ASU is better than OSU you need to find another sport
b) USC is easily the number 1 team in the country. Georgia shouldn't even get a vote.

Wow I guess your just eating crow. Your hilarious.:eek:lol:
