He confesses to TMZ during a night on the town (at 1:10). Pretty funny stuff!

USC Football Star -- 'We All Gettin' Kim Kardashian' | TMZ.com

University of Southern California running back Marc Tyler confirmed Tuesday he is awaiting potential discipline from the school after two alleged recent off-campus incidents involving alcohol and female students.

Tyler, a redshirt senior, met with the university's Office of Student Judicial Affairs last month and expects to hear the final word back on his punishment within the next 2-3 weeks.

"The worst-case scenario is them kicking me out of school," Tyler, 22, said Tuesday after a players-only workout on the USC practice field. "The best is nothing happening, just me having to do some classes in the fall, probably."

Regardless of the school's decision, Tyler said, he did not expect any further football-specific punishment from coach Lane Kiffin or athletic director Pat Haden.

Until the NCAA nukes a program to where it cant field a team, it will continue. Slaps on the wrist do nothing

They already did that, they even made a 30 for 30 on it called Pony Excess. Perhaps you've heard of it.

fine time to start with tOSU, and the Barn

They haven't done enough to warrant it and they certainly aren't impeding any NCAA investigations by uncooperatively sticking a middle finger in their faces

Half the people on this board werent old enough to remember when SMU was the powerhouse of CFB.

They need to continue to make examples, so that it is fresh in everyones mind.

I love that everyone's making a big deal about that.

Do you seriously believe a single word of what he said in that video?

No, I realize he's drunk and probably just messing around. I thought the video was funny regardless.

It could suck for USC though-he was a 5* stud in high school, 5th year senior, projected draft pick, and is/was projected to start this year after leading the team in rushing last year.

This part-

"Regardless of the school's decision, Tyler said, he did not expect any further football-specific punishment from coach Lane Kiffin"

-is so typical

Payback for what? Leaving for a better job and a doubled salary?

Better job huh? I get leaving for the money, but how is a team that is in a crap conference and just got blasted by the NCAA a better job? I think it was more the climate and the money that caused Kiffin to leave.

It's not a better job. The only championships the NCAA recognizes since 1998 are BCS championships. Thus, they haven't won a championship since 1978. And they sure as f aren't going to win one with Lane Kiffin at the helm.

Only Tennessee homers with orange-tinted glasses would believe Southern Cal. job was/is not a better job than Tennessee. If you look up the history, there is really no argument there. Please look up the wins in history, bowl wins, awards, wins in the past decades etc. before you embarrass yourself with a statement like that. A BCS championship 13 years ago doesn't mean Tennessee job is better. Additionally, please look at those recruiting pipilines S.C. set up in Southern California and in the west and also compare their national recruiting influence with ours.

You want to talk about the current situation? Sure. Last year, S.C played only 40~50 eligible players with only 60+ scholarship players on the roster (due to free upperclassmen transfer rules), minus 10+ redshirts, and still managed 8 wins, and that's as bad as it gets. I'd like to bet, even with a 30-scholarship-reduction, S.C. will win more games than Tennessee in the next 3 years.

Not to agree with either one of you and without looking at the records I'd say the two are pretty even in every category. USC has an edge in awards. Subtract the vacated wins of 2004 and I'd say the last decade is really close as well.
