I'm not an expert as some on on Volnation, but I will ask a question based on results. How can USC recruit so many talented players within their state and abroad? Is it the atmosphere? Is it Lane? Is it Monte? What is it?

Whatever "IT" is fellas we sure need it!!!

What do you fellas think?

They can literally ride a bike and recruit top 150 players.

Not trying to be a dick, and I have never been a forum Nazi, but this crap needs to be in "around the NCAA" forum. I don't want to see topics on that garbage school where UT stuff belongs. Again. No offense op.

And let's face it. 18 year old kids at the top of their positions are getting asked to play in L.A.

I mean yeah it's southern california with beautiful beaches and such,but one meeting with the PSU running back and he commits? What gives? Tennessee has such a tradition with true running backs and with everything we have to offer this kat doesn't even take a visit?

Second, if you want to talk about UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA football recruiting, I'm sure they have plenty of sites dedicated to such conversations.

Like its been said, most of their players come from California which has an abundance of great talent. Any guys they get from out of state is probably because of tradition (They do put a lot of guys in the NFL) and the area. It's not hard to sell 18 years on living in southern California.

I never said you were. I am trying to get the point across to you that this topic does not belong anywhere near the TENNESSEE VOLS FOOTBALL forum. Kiffin is in California now, has been for 2 years, and that's where this thread belongs. You come on a UT website and give Kiffin a rub n tug on VOLNATION.COM! How dense can you be?

If we are to raise to the ranks of greatness as we have been we will have to compete with USC. You may want to pay attention to the rankings....

Winning, and location. Out side of the southeast most kids don't know much about university of Tennessee's football history.
