USC vs UGA

What's more, we lost to UCLA and are prepared to admit that we suck because of it.

Apparently you have no such notion.

At least we lost to someone respectable. Vandy>UCLA
Yall wouldnt beat UGA either.

:hi:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

*breathes*

Man, I think the OBC coming to USCe was the worst thing that could have happened to the Battle Chicken fans. Getting their hopes all high and crushing em each year has taken a toll on their mental stability it seems.

At least before, they knew they had no chance.

Right now its florida then lsu. After that its everybody else including georgia. Its a free for all behind those two teams. I get the feeling its going to be another wild year in the sec. Everyone has holes and although lsu looks good they've played nobody. Georgia is very beatable.

SOS pulls one out and this one is a lot closer than anyone expects. GA still wins.....but not by much.

Now this is a knowledgeable college football fan! I'll go halvsies with you in a football poll any time.

The Dawgs vs. Evil Genius was typical. USC really gets up for us year after year. Kinda like Vandy does for UT. And our guys always seem a little flat for the game, trying to "not lose" rather than to win. I'm just glad we got the W and hopefully can learn some things from this game. I think USC is more of an in-state rival now than GT.

Congrats on your win against UAB. Good luck next week.

stafford is overrating, i don't care if they won. they'll lose 2-3 games. hopefully one by us.

I know I'm on a rival board here, but to say Stafford is "overrating" sp "overrated" by watching one game is a little shortsighted IMHO. You can't judge a college football player by one or two games in their career. He didn't put up stellar numbers yesterday but USC schemed a pretty good D (btw, they have about 5 NFL players on that D and I think you're going to see a much better Gamecock team the rest of the season). And his receivers dropped WAY too many passes. I don't think the Dawgs can be accutately judged by this game alone. We'll just have to see how the rest of the season shakes out but I think most college football teams would take Stafford in a heartbeat.

Calling Vandy a "respectable" loss has to be hitting rock freaking bottom. Wow.

Respectable enough to do it two years in a row, huh?

Vandy beat us by the same margin the no.2 team in the nation did. Vandy beat a pretty good Rice team by 17. They are 3-0. How is that not respectable?

One reason out of thousands is that they haven't been to a bowl game during your lifetime.

What theyve done in the past doesn't affect how respectable they are this year.

Says the fan of a school with even less respectable football history than Vanderbilt. You talking about respectability is about as appropriate as Clay Aiken talking about masculinity.

your being new to the board and all, I can understand where you would get this comment. However, if you had seen anything on here for the past 2 years calling him an idiotic decision maker and overrated QB, you'd probably make a different statement. At least I'd like to think you would.

lol at Stafford being called overrated based on one game. He's overrated based on all of last season.

The fact you consider Rice "pretty good" shows how never having seen good football from the home team has stripped Gamecock fans from having a clue about what constitutes a good team.

Vanderbilt still won't win more than 3 SEC games, most likely less. It's okay man, you need something to hang your hat on. Losing to Vandy by 7 seems to work for you.

Rice was a bowl team last year and looks to do the same this year. They've got a great QB and WR.

If Vandy is not respectable then neither is UT.
