USC vs UK tonight

All the Downey stuff surprises me. He shot 243 times to get his. The putbacks were the killer.

Part of that was bad coaching on Kentucky's part. No way a guy should be able to put up 20-25 decent shots when he's obviously the team's only scoring option.

If Cousins had gotten into any foul trouble last night this game could have gotten ugly. PPat always struggles against physical opponents.

I freely admit that this opinion is based almost exclusively on last night's game since I have seen only pieces of UK or USC games before that but...Cousins was the best player on the floor, from either team.

Well my UK love must have finally worn off. I'm an alum, was a huge fan under Pitino and most of Tubby's tenure but lost affinity for the team when Billy G. came in and now with Cal.

I was rooting for SC which makes no sense.

Hmmm - weird.
