UCLA may also be team to throw in the mix, and I wouldn't say they are done after this year....They lose a lot of starpower but also have plenty left in the stable .

I know a lot of people dog the schedule they play (in particular when viewed through orange glasses), but after watching them play twice this year they are SCARY good. The weapons they have on offense look like a College all star team.

Consider that they made Arkansas look like a pee wee team. The same Arkansas that hung in there with Bama.

I dont care who you are, if they had our schedule they would have 2 losses by time they got done playing alabama. they are not that good and the pac-10 plays no defense. play a team with a defense (like us, georgia, alabama, texas, etc.) and they will go down, garuntee.

Have you actually seen them play? I really doubt it judging from your post. They are not that good? Anyone who thinks they are not the best team in the country needs to either have thier head examined or put down the pipe. Do you realize how many NFL first rounders are on that team? What about Oklahoma last year...they had a good defense and look what USC did to them. Watch a USC game for once and then post about them.

Ok besides the fact that I am the ONLY one on this board that has been to an actuall USC game then I would just shut my mouth if I was you. I went to the Oregon vs. USC game and USC is not that impressive. Come on who have they beat this year huh? All I said was there is no way they didn't have two losses if they played uab then go to florida and lsu, play ole miss, then play georgia and go to alabama. Trust me I live on the west coast, I have seen them play too much. more than you I am sure.

USC would go unbeaten if they played 11 top-15 teams

wow hahaha all i can do is laugh to that. if you think lsu can hang with USC your insane! LSU's secondary is not that good and leinart can pick apart extremely good secondarys like there high school players! USC would rack up 50 points on LSU

Seriously, USC is very good, BUT, they dont play any teams with a run defense. Period. If USC had played Auburn last season, I do feel that auburn would have beat them, EVEN though auburn didn't really defend the run as well as some SEC teams this year. They beat the same okla defense that got gashed by K-State the year before, so please. Granted USC is the only balanced Pac-10 team, BUT, the SEC is defined by balance. No way if they play Bama, LSU, Notre Dame, Fla, Ga in their schedule like we do, do they escape all 5 of those defenses. I agree they are good, but could not hang in the SEC without at least 1-2 losses. And lets remember, getting drafted is very different from having success in the NFL. USC is a product of ESPN, where Cal and Arizona State get high rankings BECAUSE they play USC!! Oklahoma is showing their true colors this season, yet everyone was high on the last year basically because they had a good O-Line and beat an overrated texas team. What is everyone going to say when OU puts it to texas this weekend? How can you then make the argument that OU is that much worse than they were last year? I will personally eat crow if it doesnt happen, but I really think I wont need to as OU is going to keep their overrated streak against overrated Texas going. :focus:
